InsideBenicia.com is the new, on-line version of Inside Benicia magazine. Celebrating their fourth year of publishing, Inside Benicia is mailed free of charge to all of Benicia's residents. Recently, the magazine is being circulated to some adjoining communities in efforts to promote Benicia's charm and, 'A Great Day for Girlfriends by the Bay' prize drawing. The magazine directs you to complete a prize drawing entry form on the new website. It must be working, after just one day, there are over 100 entry registrations. So, if you'd like a crack at the $1,000 prize package, logon to InsideBenicia.com and enter to win - by September 19, 2008.
For this solution we utilized a DotNetNuke (DNN) Content Managment System we call, WSI Business Edge. We skinned the application with a design from Snowcovered.com, added a custom graphic header banner and completed the content population/formatting and functional configuration all within 4 weeks start to finish.
There are 5 functional modules being used on this site: Announcements, Event Calendar, Drag & Drop Form Builder, Banner Advertising and the Text/HTML based editor. The Form Builder module writes the information collected from the prize entry forms to a database which can then be easily pulled up by the site owner and downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet or CSV file. This makes it easy to view, save and work with the information.

Medispa-Resources.com was launched to be the one-stop resource site for the medispa industry. It features links to schools, organizations, equipment, consultants and products - all associated with the medispa industry.
We are currently working on phase 2 of the project that will add a Classifieds section for employment, items and businesses for sale and consulting services. The site will also soon offer a variety of Webinars of interest to the industry, and a shopping cart to process transactions.
Medispa-Resources is offering banner advertising to those in the medispa industry, and this is accomplished via the banner advertising module of the website. This content management system makes it easy for the site owner to logon to the system and make updates to the content.
Marketing components include Search Engine Optimization by WSI SearchResults and Email Marketing via Constant Contact.We also implemented WSI VoiceMarketer Smart Click-to-Call conversion and call tracking tool on the site.

The BFC website re-design and makeover included the following objectives:
- Re-design the home page - changed out the single graphic look and added multiple images and customer appealing copy, links and a virtual tour feature. Thanks to Tom Beauchamp of Monster Design Company for the graphic design work.
- Re-designed interior pages - we carried the same look and feel of the home page throughout the rest of the site and incorporated a CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) based layout and design technique for the site structure and navigation menu that makes the site SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendly.
- SEO - there were a number of SEO weaknesses with the existing site which made it very difficult for it to be found via search engine access. We implemented an SEO package with analytics to track, measure, analyze and improve visitor traffic and experience.
- Added features - we added a virtual tour and slideshow feature of BFC's showroom. Now visitors can get a sense of the beautiful, spacious and comfortable showroom BFC offers its customers. In addition, you can see a wide variety of actual customer installations on the Photo Gallery page where we incorporated a Flash photo gallery organized by type of flooring product, and a special album just on Stairs.

Teams By Design is a custom embroidery business in Suisun City, California with a retail store offering in-house embroidery, screen printing and patch design. They offer corporate apparel, standard work and school uniforms and specialty items such as hats and bags. We built their website to help facilitate the apparel selection and artwork / logo upload process for new and existing customers. Customers can now go to their website to view styles, sizes, colors, etc., and submit a quote request or reorder form along with uploading their company logo and/or artwork illustrations. On the apparel pages, we created popup messages in CSS formatting to save space on the page and keep the look clean and uncluttered. When you hover over the images a popup message appears to give you more information on the product. Links to the supplier's websites are included along with spec sheets and size charts. A third party file upload/download service via Send This File is integrated into the site on the Artwork Upload page. |

Kiwanis Club of Benicia, a community service organization wanted a website to communicate club information and activities to its members and raise public awareness. We selected a low cost, template based site that was quick to deploy (24 hours) and easy to maintain. The site has been live for over a year now and has grown to approximately 50 pages. It has a photo gallery, contact and sign up forms, Yahoo! group calendar integration for events, a members only - password protected page and much more! |

This is a custom design website solution and Content Management System (CMS). The client wanted a "clean looking" design to promote his commercial janitorial business in Northern California, Norcal Cleaning Serv. Part of this unique design was to also create a spinning logo which turned out quite nice. A photo thumbnail - mouse over to large image - photo gallery is used on the Clients page. We also provided all the copywriting and arrangement of content for this website solution. |

Sensational Home Staging of Danville, California desired a custom designed website that promoted their home staging business. We built this website "in house" with Dreamweaver, a website / HTML authoring tool. For a relatively new site, it ranks quite well in the natural / organic search engine results on Google for the keyword phrase, "home staging in danville". It comes up on the first Search Engine Results Page (SERP) in position #7.
Recently, we've completed a redesign of the website. Monster Design Co. did the design and WSI Wiki Works implemented it along with some enhancements to the photo galleries. The new design is at left and below the top thumbnail which represents the intial design. |

Kiwanis Division 8 of Marin, Solano and Napa Counties needed a new website to communicate with their 14 clubs, and serve as a portal for each club to access their specific information on activities, news and events. For this project we collaborated with Net Signature to create a WSI Business Edge website. WSI Business Edge is a database driven, CMS solution based on DotNetNuke and ASP.Net technology. It is rich in features and functionality and allows multiple levels of administration for maintenance and updating of the site's content.
This organization also utilizes Constant Contact to communicate with their 500+ members on a regular basis. We created a custom design for their eNewsletter that has the same look and feel of the website. We also integrated Constant Contact's Email Archive feature so that each eNewsletter can also be archived through a link on the website.

This glass company was frustrated with the lack of leads and tracking they were getting from yellow page advertising. They re-allocated their yellow page advertising budget to a local search marketing program with WSI Local AdWorks. We developed a landing page that was implemented on their website and set up a paid search advertising campaign to drive targeted traffic from 98% of the major search engines within a 25 mile radius of their business. California Condo Guru is a website focused on providing legal information on California Condo and HOA laws. Our client, Beth A. Grimm is a well-recognized attorney specializing in Califonria Condo Law. She wanted to be able to communicate regularly with home owners and HOA boards updates, news and insights impacting them via an eNewsletter. We selected Constant Contact for this application. We set up the account, created a custom HTML eNewsletter template that resembles the look and feel of her website, and conduct monthly campaigns with list management and results tracking.
An eNewsletter sign-up was also implemented on the website through which dozens of new subscribers are signing up weekly to receive her eNewsletter updates.

Not Just Baskets also began using Email Marketing with Constant Contact. We were able to customize one of the standard templates to make it look similar to eCommerce website. Dona Bovey of Not Just Baskets creates a message theme with product selection features for each month. We develop promotional messages and content with links to shopping cart pages on her website, launch the monthly campaigns and report on the opens and click throughs. |
